Helping Students Achieve Their Collegiate Dreams

Helping high school students and their families navigate the complexities of the college admissions process and craft winning application essays that tell their own unique and compelling story.

What We Do

Essay Coaching

Telling the story of “you” in short essays is a daunting task. Next Decade brings years of experience reading and evaluating applications to help you craft the perfect personal statement and supplemental admissions essays. For us, each student is unique and so we combine genuine listening and relationship-building with our expertise.

Admissions Counseling

Navigating the college admissions process is hard. We develop trusting relationships with high school students and their families & then help them find the college that is the right fit for them – where they will excel, be happy, and spend the best four years of their life.

Our Experts

Our team is part of what sets us apart. All of our college advisors have themselves succeeded in the college admissions process. They are graduates of Harvard, Princeton, Dartmouth, and nation’s leading public universities. They also bring years of experience working in higher education, teaching English and writing, and working in various capacities in the admissions process of elite universities.

Our lead counselor is Bob Bordone who served on the Admissions Committee of Harvard Law School for more than a decade where he was also the Thaddeus R. Beal Clinical Professor of Law and Founder and Director of the Harvard Law School Negotiation and Mediation Clinical Program.

While at Harvard and on the admissions committee, Bob read thousands of essays from the world’s best applicants.

In addition to working with Bob, each student also has the benefit of feedback and advice from a Review Committee, comprised of all of the other counselors on our team, each of whom has worked with and mentored young people. This team brings insight, empathy, expertise, listening, and care to their craft. They will see you for you and help admissions committees see all you can contribute to their institution.
